Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s daughter Srija had lodged a complaint with the Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Mondayagainst her husband Sirish alleging that he was harassing her for dowry. It is well aware that Srija and Sirish fell in love and got married few years ago. They were also blessed with a daughter. Srija complained that Sirish was harassing for dowry for the past one and a half years. Not only the dowry, he is also demanding a share in Chiranjeevi’s properties, she alleged. When Sirish started bringing pressure on Srija to bring Rs 50 lakhs for the past one week, she approached the CCS women’s police station. Hence, a case was booked under section 498 A in the police station and this was confirmed by Commissioner of Police AK Khan. He said that Srija personally came and lodged the complaint. It is learnt that the CCS police had summoned and enquired with Sirish about the complaint. Sirish’s parents would also be summoned on Tuesday for more details, the police added. |
